Held the Fourth weekend of March, Ashburn welcomes the Fire Ant Festival, not the ants themselves. Known for its wacky and off the wall activities, the festival offers family oriented fun for all ages. Activities include the fire ant calling contest, the fire ant fling, the giant fire ant maze, carnival, car show, arts and crafts, fireworks, drive in movie and much more!

The dates of the Festival are the evening of March 26th, and all day on March 27th, 2010.
