RULES:

1) All strawberries will be supplied by Calhoun Produce at no charge to contestant (Limit 1 quart). Call 229.273.1887 for strawberries.

2) The entry fee is $5.00 per entry. Late entries will be $7.50.

3) Deadline for $5.00 entry fee is NOON, Friday, March 21, 2008.

4) Categories are limited to the first ten entries per category.

5) Recipes must be included with each entry form. The festival reserves the right to use the recipes in promotional efforts.

6) Entrants must follow food safety measures. Refrigeration is the responsibility of the entrant.

7) Recipes must use at least one cup of strawberries.

8) Entries must be ON-SITE no later than 5:15 PM, Saturday, March 24. Late entries will be disqualified. It is the entrants responsibility to get their entry to the tables.

9) Judging will begin at 5:30 PM, with prizes awarded at 6:00 PM.

10) Entries will be judged according to:

TASTE: 50%

APPEARANCE: 25%

PRESENTATION: 25%

11) Judges will score entries from 1-10 with 10 being the highest score and 1 being the lowest score.

12) The highest overall score will be named the winner.

13) A ribbon will be awarded to the most original entry.
